A winter visit beyond the ski slopes

What can you do in Mont-Tremblant without skiing?

Build a winter day around snowshoeing, a walk, an indoor game or one of the outdoor adventures above. For couples, families and mixed groups of skiers and non-skiers, agree on a meeting place and a meal time before choosing separate activities.

Snowshoeing at Domaine Saint-Bernard

Domaine Saint-Bernard lists snowshoeing among its winter activities in Mont-Tremblant. It offers a nature-focused alternative to a ski day, with the route chosen around your party's fitness and the conditions.

Before setting out: check open trails, admission, equipment availability and the departure address. Arrange transport from your lodging; do not assume the activity starts in the resort village.

A winter walk in the national park

Sépaq describes a groomed winter walking route from the Discovery Centre to Lac Lauzon in the La Diable sector: a six-kilometre round trip. Choose it only if that distance and the day's conditions suit everyone.

Allow for: the drive to the park, access fees, walking time and daylight. Check the current trail notice and required footwear before leaving.

A village visit with an indoor activity

For less time outside, combine a short visit to the pedestrian village with Mission Liberté escape games or Mission Laser. Our Tremblant guide compares the venues, age requirements and arrangements for larger groups.

If others are skiing: agree on where and when to meet afterwards. Book the indoor activity for your actual party size and leave time for arrival and instructions.
